Derek is a longtime Springfield resident. He is the brawn behind Bloomin’ Blinds! Responsible for repairs, measuring, and installation, Derek will be the smiling face on your doorstep when you call our Springfield blinds, shades, and shutters service. Derek has a long list of previous experience that all builds upon his experience in customer service. Derek is a proud father of one (so far), married to Nicole, and is responsible for a good sized collection of animals at their home in Ozark. Other than being a “blind man,” Derek loves getting outdoors and cheering for the Cardinals.

Have you ever heard the saying, “Behind every great man is a better woman?” Well, Derek and Nicole tend to stand side by side. But we all know where the smarts are! When you call Bloomin’ Blinds, Nicole is most likely on the other end. She works behind the scenes, keeps things running, and directs the show. Originally from Illinois, Nicole enjoyed living in big cities such as Chicago and St. Louis, MO, but was brought to the Ozarks in pursuit of her cowboy, with whom she happily spends her days. Besides her love of being a wife to Derek, Nicole has adopted other great loves since moving to the Ozarks. She enjoys their hobby farm living with their horses, chickens, dogs, and barn kitty, and hopes to have a flock of Nubian goats of her own to raise and milk. Nicole’s work experience includes a variety of jobs that have allowed her to build a range of skills, many of which she is able to apply to Bloomin’ Blinds. Most of all, Nicole loves to work with people.
