Alicia has a 20+ year background in event sales management, business management and customer service in the entertainment restaurant industry. This experience has helped her understand the importance of creating meaningful relationships built on trust while finding and solving problems. Alicia is an entrepreneur at heart and decided to start Bloomin’ Blinds of Rockville for a new and challenging next step in life that would allow her flexibility to spend more time with her family. Alicia’s current role as owner is all-encompassing: sales, repairs, installs, marketing…you name it, Alicia is doing it! Alicia was raised on a farm in Eastern Iowa and moved to the DC area in 2006. In her free time Alicia enjoys entertaining, cooking, gardening and thrifting!
Jamie and Alicia have been married for 15+ years and are in Bloomin’ Blinds together! Jamie comes from a background of running the complex sales and operations of an event rental company for the last 25+ years. He is now our Director of Operations and heads up our installations while helping strategize growth. Jamie is originally from Gaithersburg, MD and enjoys spending his free time camping, completing home-improvement projects and relaxing in the backyard.
We have high hopes for the future that Owen, Joanna and Cassie will be doing their part with repairs, installations and marketing very soon! They are all budding entrepreneurs and often spend their weekends selling concessions, potholders, jewelry and landscaping to friends and neighbors! Also a huge part of the Dinwiddie family are Coco (chocolate lab) and Whiskey (German Shepard mix). It’s a full house!
Bloomin' Blinds provides a limited lifetime warranty where most retailers/ manufacturer's have limitation on time since purchase. This means your investment is protected for the long-haul. (Many warranties only last 3 years).
