Nam and Kim Dang are the husband-and-wife owners of Bloomin’ Blinds of Huntsville, AL. As a locally owned and operated business, they take pride in serving their community with a hands-on, personalized approach—handling everything from your first consultation to the final installation.
Their journey to Alabama is a story they’ll never forget. After traveling across the country in a camper trailer for 8 months with their two French Bulldogs, Moto and Louie, and exploring 10 different states, they unexpectedly found their way to Alabama. Nam is a huge fan of Philip Rivers, so they made a stop in Athens to visit his high school and snap a photo of the street sign named after him. What started as a fun detour quickly turned into something much more—discovering a place that truly felt like home. They fell in love with the Huntsville area’s strong sense of community and growing opportunities and knew this was where they wanted to plant their roots.
Nam is the face of the field—handling consultations, measurements, and installations—while ensuring every project runs smoothly from start to finish. With a background as a former Pho restaurant owner, he brings strong expertise in customer service, operations, and attention to detail into every home and business he serves.
Kim supports the business behind the scenes, managing operations, customer communication, scheduling, and overall client experience. Before transitioning into the business full-time, she worked as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, where she developed a strong foundation in problem-solving, organization, and understanding individual needs. She now applies those skills to ensure every customer interaction is thoughtful, responsive, and seamless from start to finish. Kim also serves as an Ambassador for the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved in supporting and connecting with the local business community.
