About our Owner, Ray Lyons

As a native Minnesotan, Ray grew up in St. Paul, ventured out-of-state for college, worked in various locations, and eventually returned to the state that holds a special place in his heart. He currently resides in Woodbury with my beloved blended family, which includes his wife, four adult sons, one grandchild, and two furry friends. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, he has spent most of my career in sales engineering.

Owning his own company has always been a lifelong dream of Ray's, and the perfect opportunity presented itself with Bloomin' Blinds. His expertise in sales and engineering will prove to be an asset in the blind business, and he is thrilled to embark on this new chapter of his life. He is a people person and eagerly anticipate meeting many new clients through this venture. Additionally, he possesses a passion for hands-on work and can usually be found tinkering around the house or creating something. In his leisure time, he enjoys watching Minnesota's sports teams, camping, fishing, and traveling, as well as spending quality time with his family. Ray's utmost priority is to work with each customer to cater to their specific needs, ensuring a successful experience with Bloomin' Blinds.
